Work with me
You keep the client. I take the delivery.
Three ways to engage, and I do the work in all of them. Day rate on request. Tell me the shape of the work on a call and you get a number in writing the same day.
What this is
The simplest arrangement, and the one most consultancies ask for: a senior pair of hands for a workstream you have sold and cannot staff. I work as your subcontractor, so you remain the supplier of record for your client and nothing about your contract chain changes.
What I need from you
A named technical contact, access to the environment, and the definition of done. That is all. If your client’s onboarding takes two weeks, read-only access on day one lets me be useful while it runs.
What you should expect
A written standup every working day and no surprises at the end of a sprint. If something is going to slip, you hear it the day I know, not the week it lands.
What this is
Some work does not need a body on a sprint team. It needs a defined outcome by a date. This is that: I scope it in writing, you or your client approve it, and the deliverable arrives.
The packages that come up most
Cost review. Query history, warehouse configuration and billing, with every finding quantified per month and the pull requests that remove it.
dbt restructure. A dependency and runtime map, tests on the models that matter, and a sequence of moves that each leave the project working.
Migration assessment. An inventory of every pipeline, its real business owner, and a sequence where each step is independently shippable and revertible.
How it is priced
Fixed fee against a written scope, quoted after a short call. If the scope changes mid-flight, we re-scope rather than quietly absorbing it.
What this is
A short, senior read on something before it becomes expensive: a lakehouse design, a Snowflake bill that keeps growing, a dbt project nobody trusts, or an ADF migration that has stopped moving.
What you get back
Findings in writing, ordered by cost rather than by how interesting they are, and a session with the engineers who will act on them. The output is meant to be executable by your team. If the recommendation is that you do not need me after this, that is a valid outcome and I will say it.
↳Inside a fixed-scope cost review
What a cost review looks at
When the fixed-scope work is a Snowflake or Databricks bill, this is the order I work in. The ranking almost never changes; the proportions do.
Typical proportions across the platforms I have reviewed, not a measurement of yours. The point is the ranking: idle compute is almost always first.

Questions from delivery managers
Anything not answered here, email me. I answer procurement checklists in writing, in full, the same week.
youneselhamri2@gmail.comWe're an EU or UK consultancy. Can we subcontract to someone outside the EU?
Yes, and it is the normal shape. You remain the supplier of record for your client; I am your subcontractor. I sign your NDA and DPA as written and act as a sub-processor under Article 28(4), with EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 3) filled in and ready, so your legal team is not drafting from scratch.
How much notice do you need?
Five days a week are available for subcontract work. Tell me the start date and I will tell you honestly whether it is free.
How do you invoice?
Monthly, in EUR or GBP, from my registered business with a tax ID on the invoice. Services exported from Morocco are VAT-exempt, so there is no VAT line for your finance team to reconcile. Bank transfer, 30 days net.
Can you work to our client's process?
Yes. Code goes through your CI and review, against your definition of done. I can be introduced as your engineer, join the client's calls, or stay entirely behind your delivery manager.
Do you work on site?
Remote, with flexible hours: I am on UTC and shift my working day to your team's, whether that is European or American. Travel for a kickoff or a workshop can be discussed engagement by engagement.
What access do you need in week one?
SELECT and query history inside the client's environment, through their VPN, VDI or bastion. Nothing is copied to my machine. Write access comes later, scoped to a named role and revoked at the end of the engagement.
Can we see references?
Two client references on request, plus the case studies on this site with the numbers left in. I am happy to walk your client's architect through any of them on a call.
What do you not do?
Report building in Power BI or Tableau. I build the models behind them, not the dashboards. I am also not a streaming specialist beyond batch and micro-batch. If that is what the project needs, I will tell you on the first call rather than on week three.
Send me the brief.
The stack, the client's sector, the start date and how many days a week. Twenty minutes on a call is enough for both of us to know whether this works.
